
Qualifications:
BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy.
Fully registered member with Allied Health Professions Council.
Certified therapist and instructor in Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP).
Training and Clinical Experience:
Emily completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Occupational Therapy at Trinity College Dublin. She is a Senior Occupational Therapist, fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council.
Emily has been sharpening her clinical skills for more than 10 years, serving children with special needs and their families, through family-centred interventions, in public hospitals and in the community. She invests passionately in coaching caregivers to understand and support their children. Emily is also supervising students and junior therapists, and in 2018 was awarded the Inspiring Clinical Supervisor Award by the Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists.
As a therapist, she believes that every person is unique, and we can bring out the best in others when we cater to these individual differences. What drives Emily in her work is the joy she feels when caregivers seek to better understand their children, fortifying a secure relationship between them which children thrive in.

Fun fact:
Emily loves nature and books. She spends her Sunday mornings serving in the Children’s Church and has a special interest in being inclusive to children of varying abilities.
