Training and Clinical Experience:
Gladys works with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, offering support for a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. With professional training in trauma therapies such as EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Attachment-Based Approaches, she helps clients process difficult experiences and build healthier ways of coping and relating. Gladys is a registered clinical counsellor with extensive experience supporting people through trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and life transitions. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, integrating evidence-based therapies to help clients understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
Gladys has more than a decade of experience as a social worker with clinical training, working with individuals and families at the Child Protection Specialist and Family Service Centres, and as a psychotherapist in her private practice. Gladys also provides consultation and training for social workers and counsellors at the family service centre in working with children.
