Training and Clinical Experience:
Ying Min is a seasoned counsellor with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across diverse cultural contexts. Her approach is person-centred and multimodal, tailored to the unique needs of each client. She creates a safe and nurturing space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to pursue wellness and meaningful change.
With a background as a pharmacist and early counselling experience in hospital settings, Ying Min developed a strong foundation in understanding mental health challenges. She later expanded her practice to community settings, working with families in distress and navigating complex social and systemic issues. Most recently, her work in Vietnam with the expatriate and mixed-culture couples has deepened her appreciation for the universal nature of human needs and experiences.

Ying Min loves being in nature and has a fantasy of practicing permaculture on a hobby farm. In reality, she is only able to indulge in balcony gardening, fortunately surrounded by beautiful greenery and wildlife. There is much joy in seeing seeds germinate, nurtured into healthy plants and picking fresh organic herbs and vegetables for her home cooked meals.
