Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
Training and Clinical Experience:
Jovin has a Masters of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
Jovin has over 20 years of clinical experience and has worked in different settings such as a social service organization, a rehabilitation centre, an early intervention centre and a private clinic. She has extensive experience providing her expertise to individuals with psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions. Through her work, she aims to maximise her client’s independence in self-care, school work, socialization, play and leisure occupations.
Something she deeply believes in is the collaborative efforts of parents, school teachers, and the therapist. Hence, Jovin aims to inspire parents to take a more involved role in implementing interventions within the home environment. In addition, she also wishes to encourage parents to actively advocate for their child’s educational requirements with their school teachers, in hopes of achieving overall developmental progress for their child.
