Master of Science in Rehabilitation of People with Developmental Disabilities, Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Nanyang Polytechnic
Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore
Training and Clinical Experience:
Having a love for children since the beginning of her career, Katherine is a dedicated occupational therapist who has worked extensively alongside children with diverse abilities. Katherine strongly believes in lifelong learning and continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
She finds meaning working with children across different developmental stages in school, home and clinic settings; helping them build skills, confidence, and independence. Katherine’s therapeutic approach focuses on identifying individuals’ strengths to maximise their potential while understanding factors that drive motivation. She advocates for a holistic and collaborative approach that often involves the multidisciplinary team to address each child’s unique needs. Katherine’s clinical experiences include one-on-one therapy, group sessions, school-based support, and caregiver training, which are aimed at enhancing participation, engagement, and overall development.
