Lanny Santoso

MC-NTCW, M.Soc.Sci (Counselling), B.A (Counselling Psychology).
Registered member of Singapore Association of Counselling.
Training and Clinical Experience:
Lanny obtained her Master of Narrative Therapy & Community Work from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Social Science (Counselling) with Edith Cowen University.
She has over 15 years of clinical experience working as a counsellor and 10 years of clinical supervisory experience. Through the years, she has worked with children, youths, individuals, couples and families. Lanny is passionate in her counselling work and helping individuals and families through therapy, she had volunteered with Youth Guidance Outreach Services to counsel at-risk youth, and Methodist Children and Youth Centre to counsel primary school children.
Besides counselling, she had also facilitated therapeutic group work program for various groups of clients such as, mothers with children who were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, women and children who were experiencing domestic violence, and women with mental health issues.
Lanny is currently an associate with a private practice known as “Pawsibility”, which provides Animal Assisted Psychotherapy. She is also an external consultant to Fei Yue Family Service Centre, facilitating group supervision for social work practitioners and facilitates group supervision for supervisors. During her free time, she is involved in animal assisted activities at nursing homes and hospice as a volunteer.
