Training and Clinical Experience:
Li Sha enjoys working with children of varying abilities as well as their families. She started her career as an Autism Therapist at Eden School before pursuing her Master of Arts in Applied Psychology at the National Institute of Education, Singapore.
Due to family commitments, Li Sha entered private practice following her Master’s programme. During these years, she served a range of children with differing strengths, needs, and family backgrounds through private practices and locum work with organisations such as SPD and MOE. Her clients ranged from preschoolers to undergraduates and from SPED to mainstream school students. She has experience both in psychological assessments and interventions. Over the years, Li Sha has shifted from seeing the individual as the client to seeking to understand and support the family through her work with the individual.
In addition to working with children and families, Li Sha also believes in nurturing aspiring educators and professionals. She supervises trainee psychologists at NIE and is an associate lecturer at SUSS where she helms a module on Autism Spectrum Disorder.
