Training and Clinical Experience:
Rachel is a clinical psychologist with experience across hospital, public service, and social service settings. She provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, addressing a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety-related difficulties, adjustment difficulties, and interpersonal difficulties. Rachel values a warm, nonjudgmental, and open therapeutic space where curiosity and understanding guide her partnership with clients towards growth in their journey. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and is tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. She integrates various therapeutic modalities including Schema Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and compassion-focused approaches.
In addition to her work with individuals, Rachel also collaborates closely with parents and caregivers. She is a certified Circle of Security Parenting (COSPTM) Facilitator and conducts COSP programs for parents of preschool-aged children. Rachel has significant experience conducting psychological assessments for children and adolescents as well, aiding in special education placements and providing access arrangements for classroom learning and
