Training and Clinical Experience:
Sophia Chan, our Speech Therapist, specializes in delivering evidence-based and family-centered care to support her clients’ development in communication and feeding. She particularly enjoys working with children with special needs and has experience with diverse populations, including individuals on the Autism Spectrum, those with Global Developmental Delays, and those with multiple disabilities.
Throughout the week, Sophia continues to provide Speech Therapy services to children ranging from one to seven years of age, in collaboration with Teachers and other Allied Health Professionals at the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC), Fei Yue Community Services.
Sophia holds a Speech Pathology Degree from the University of Sydney, where she was recognized for academic excellence with the 2018 Dean’s List of Excellence in Academic Performance. Sophia is equally committed to sharing relevant clinical knowledge so that parents can make informed decisions and be empowered in their parenting journey.
