Participants get to know one another, identify personal strengths, and learn about the RAP model.

Resourceful Adolescent Program (Rap)
RAP-A is a strength-based program that builds self-esteem by focusing on each participant’s individual strengths. It uses elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to build resiliency in teenagers.
The cognitive-behavioural component teaches participants about the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, provides techniques for relaxation and stress management, and supports problem-solving skills. The interpersonal component focuses on perspective-taking and building supportive networks during periods of interpersonal conflict.
